True Sidereal Astrology: Harmony with the Natural Cycles of the Cosmos
What is True Sidereal Astrology?
True Sidereal Astrology is a system of astrology that aligns with the actual positions of the stars and constellations, it follows the visible sky. Unlike traditional Western astrology (called Tropical Astrology), which uses a fixed zodiac based on the seasons, True Sidereal Astrology incorporates the real-time and real-size astronomical positions of the planets and placement of the constellations as they appear in the sky.
In Tropical Astrology, someone’s Sun might be in Capricorn, while astronomically, the Sun is still in Sagittarius. This doesn’t mean Tropical Astrology is wrong or false - it’s simply not recognizing the actual positions of the stars in the sky. Both systems are valid in their own unique way. Tropical astrology can offer valuable insight on aspects of how our personality have been programmed, but it doesn’t provide the complete picture. True Sidereal on the other hand connects us to a deeper experience of self-discovery and serves as a more accurate roadmap of our soul’s evolutionary journey.

How I Liberated Myself by Discovering my True Astrology Blueprint
In 2021, when I was shown my true sky placement in a reading, everything in my life changed afterwards. Instead of identifying as the air sign Libra (which didn't always feel like the right fit), I began to tune in to my true templating of earthy Virgo. My grounded, devoted and introvert self felt relieved to know that solitude was sometimes more replenishing than socializing for me. I had been so hard on myself my whole life, forcing myself to always be super social (to my own detriment and burning myself out). In reality my soul, body, and heart desire a lot of solitude in devotional presence and time spent in my own energy. Discovering this was a true gift!
Another discovery that clicked was that my moon sign is in Pisces (in True Sidereal)! I had been told my whole life that my Tropical Aries moon made me a warrior with a competitive edge and that I should be focused on competing in sports and continuously challenging myself. This never landed well with me. It turns out that my Pisces moon is more nourished and nurtured through contemplative depth and connections. It's also interested in spirituality, exploring intuition and experiencing life through the realm of emotions. THIS fits exactly who I've been my whole life, not the fiery Aries moon.
So why am I sharing this? Because I was very skeptical after that reading. I felt resistant of this new "identity" that was being presented to me. I had to really sit with this to integrate this new information, and after a few days, everything began to click and fall into place. I realized that the exact things I had been resisting and judging my whole life (my love of tidying my space, my need for deep periods of reflection, my desire to not always want to be busy with social events, my ability to cry at every cute cat video) these things were part of the real me all along - they were also my superpowers. I had been judging these aspects of me for being too rigid, too antisocial, too emotional, too sensitive, etc... Reuniting with these rejected parts of me and seeing them through a new lens was the beginning of my liberation journey!
I want you to understand that we are not bound by our natal charts, we are NOT meant to be powerless to it. By understanding how we are templated and knowing our themes of explorations, our initiations and challenges - only then are we truly equipped to make new (more informed) choices, to move in new directions and to integrate the things we once rejected.
We were given a gift of a map of our soul - and by accessing this map, we equip ourselves with the power, love, truth and liberation that we all seek outside of ourselves.
